Het ras is sinds 2024 beschermd door communautair kwekersrecht in de USA en sinds 2025 in de EU. Voor Canada is communautair kwekersrecht aangevraagd.

Bomen van het ras ‘Gala MGCP’*/Brilliant Gala zijn verkrijgbaar via licentiehouders. Gecertificeerd ent- en oculatiehout is beschikbaar voor licentiehouders via Vermeerderingstuinen Nederland in Horst.

A new Gala with an attractive, bright to slightly dark red, somewhat striped
to solid blush.

‘Gala MGCP’*/Brilliant Gala is an apple variety from Brilliant Apples B.V.
The variety has had plant breeders’ rights in the USA since 2024 and in the EU since 2025. In Canada plant breeders’ rights have been applied.

Trees of the variety ‘Gala MGCP’*/Brilliant Gala are available through licensees. Certified scionwood and budwood for this apple variety is available for licensees from Vermeerderingstuinen Nederland in Horst (NL).
